Hi, I’m Stephanie!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving clients in Indiana and Michigan. I founded Attunement in 2021 to create a holistic practice centered around affirmative care for folx who are ethically non-monogamous, LGBTQIA+, and/or kinky. I help individuals who struggle with the ways childhood traumas and attachment wounds impact their relationships today. Myself and our providers believe each person can feel empowered in their journey towards change. We are committed to collaborating with our clients to find their strengths and achieve their goals.

Attunement offers affirming and supportive therapy that meets you where you are.

  • Individual Therapy

Our providers create a safe, open, and non-judgmental space for all clients. We believe that all people are important and have their own unique life experiences.

We’ll work together to explore the roots of your anxiety, depression, or PTSD symptoms by examining early childhood wounds and attachment injuries. Using a holistic approach, we’ll also examine and challenge that self-critical voice in your head.

Our providers have varying specialties, including supporting clients who are exploring the identity process, dealing with discrimination, and navigating the coming out process. Additional specialties include working through other relational issues for LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, and neurodivergent individuals.

  • Relational Therapy

If you are struggling in your romantic relationship(s) with communication issues, reducing conflict, or other relational challenges, we’re here to help. We’ll explore when you and your partner(s’) patterns started, where they come from, and how to heal your attachment injuries.

Our providers specialize in LGBTQ-affirmative, kink-friendly, and polyamory-affirmative therapy that addresses a variety of relationship concerns. This can include increasing communication skills and navigating transitions like opening up relationships.

The goal is to help you leave our therapy sessions with the tools you need to problem-solve on your own in your relationship(s) and make the best decisions for yourself as an individual.

  • Affirmative Supervision & Consultation for Clinicians

Stephanie offers individual and group consultations to help small private practices or solo practitioners develop more affirmative care for ENM, polyamorous, and bisexual clients.

This includes sharing techniques to use in therapy, reviewing your intake paperwork and website, discussing how to create a welcoming physical space, and more.

Additionally, Stephanie is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor-in-Training and offers individual, dyadic, and group supervision to AMFTs in Indiana. Stephanie focuses on the application of affirmative and feminist approaches to systemic therapy theories.
