Tune in to yourself and your relationships.

Hi, I’m Stephanie (she / her / hers), and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My therapeutic approach creates an affirmative space that supports healing, learning, and growth.

I am compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative with all my clients.

The client base I find particularly fulfilling to work with includes folx with C-PTSD, insecure attachments, and anxiety. I also specialize in helping clients navigate ENM/polyamory, explore their identity, experience life transitions, and get in tune with their emotions.

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing on multiple theoretical orientations and therapeutic techniques.

My approach is based on what is most helpful to each individual client, what they want to work on, and any feedback I receive from them. To better serve my clients, I am constantly learning through reading new books, listening to podcasts, and attending various training sessions. My growth-oriented mindset applies to both myself and my clients.

I want to make sure you have a variety of resources outside of the therapeutic relationship, which is why I may often recommend different books, podcasts, and articles to you. I want you to be able to fill your toolbox with skills and techniques to use outside of our sessions.

Through my work, I seek to help you build community and develop a greater understanding of yourself.

Individual & Relational Therapy:

I specialize in helping clients who are experiencing anxiety, C-PTSD, and insecure attachments. I also work with clients who are exploring their identity, navigating life transitions, and getting in tune with their emotions. My eclectic approach to therapy is trauma-informed and incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, solution-focused therapy, attachment theory, and feminist theory.

Through somatic work like breathing techniques and grounding exercises, I help my clients understand what their body is telling them, how to navigate difficult emotions, and how to develop self-compassion. I want my clients to feel the benefits of building their mind-body connection.

A motivation for change is a must for all my clients. I see the most growth in clients who are motivated to grow and are open to trying the slightly “woo-woo” techniques I may incorporate. Ultimately, the most growth often happens outside of our therapy sessions through the implementation of what you’ve learned, like understanding yourself, utilizing the new tools at your disposal, and continuing to develop the skills you are learning in therapy.

I also specialize in helping couples navigate ENM/polyamory, opening up their relationship, and other relational challenges. My goal as a therapist is to help you un-therapy. This means that I want you to leave therapy with the skills and tools you need to self-soothe and problem-solve on your own as an individual or as a couple.

Appointment Types & Pricing:

  • Individual Therapy

    $160 per 53-Minute Session

A masculine presenting person with dark hair and tattoos looks pensively past the camera, standing on a set of railroad tracks, surrounded by tall grass and trees.
  • Therapy for Couples

    $200 per 53-Minute Session

Two partners are shown, with their faces framed close to the viewer, one looking directly into the camera, while the other looks down. They are both people of color with facial piercings.
  • Multi-Partner Therapy

    $250 per 85-Minute Session

Five partners of diverse body sizes and skin colors stand together on a rooftop, with green mountains in the background. One partner holds up a phone, and they all embrace while smiling at the phone's camera.

I accept most versions of Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna for payment. I can provide Superbills upon request for clients with insurance that I do not accept. I also offer a reduced rate option for those without insurance or out of network to help make therapy more accessible.

NOTE: I usually only accept insurance for folx seeking individual therapy. Use of insurance requires one person to have a diagnosable disorder and to be the “identified patient.” When working with couples and multi-partner relationships, I believe that one person is not the “problem” within the relationship and that difficulties stem from relationship patterns, NOT because of one person being the “problem.” Therefore, it would be unethical for me to accept insurance for most relational cases.

Who I Am Outside of My Therapy Sessions:

One of my personal passions in life is travel. Therefore, I have structured my life and career around the ability to travel and explore new places.

For my clients, this means that sometimes I will be coming into sessions from new and different locations than what they are used to seeing. However, my own travels should not impact our sessions too much, and I will still always ensure that your sessions are prioritized and confidential.

When I’m not working, I’m most likely reading, journaling, scrapbooking, meditating, spending time with loved ones, or playing video games. I like to move my body intuitively through yoga or by getting outdoors and going for a hike. You might also find me hanging out with my two mischievous cats, Chai and Chouli, who will probably make an appearance in our video calls!

Does it sound like we might be a good fit?
